Croissant Park Fort Lauderdale

Below is a video tour of Croissant Park Fort Lauderdale.  Croissant park is located south of Davie Blvd and west of Andrews Avenue.

There is a tremendous amount of interest in this neighborhood as buyers are finding themselves priced out of areas east of Federal Highway.  The rush of new ownership into croissant park is pushing the overall appearance of the neighborhood upwards.  The area is a favorite of first time home buyers and those looking for a well kept home at a modest price level, when compared to other areas of Fort Lauderdale.

Croissant Park Fort Lauderdale is mainly comprised of 2 and 3 bedroom single family homes.  The homes are typically set on larger sized lots and are constructed from concrete.  Typically the homes are single stories.  However, developers have begun constructing larger homes with multiple floors in the neighborhood.

Croissant Park Fort Lauderdale is mainly comprised of side streets.  This keeps traffic at a minimum which adds to the neighborhoods charm.

The canopies of trees that stretch across the streets in Croissant park give the neighborhood a great feel and provide plenty of shade.

There are a small number of gated developments in Croissant Park Fort Lauderdale, beautiful as they are, they are not the norm for the neighborhood.

Croissant Park is also home to citrus isles.  Referred to as citrus isles from their names; Mango, Avocado, Guava, mandarin, tangelo, and orange isle.  The isles are highly sought after due to their location on the intracoastal.   There are no fixed bridges between citrus isles and the ocean.

Home builders have been building new homes in Citrus Isles.  I’m seeing more and more sales of older, unrenovated, homes on citrus isles get sold.  They are mainly being sold as tear downs.  If you’re looking to own or build on the waterfront, Citrus Isles offers some of the most affordable waterfront property in Fort Lauderdale.
