Boat Docks for sale in Fort Lauderdale
Have you ever heard of a dockominium? In Fort Lauderdale we love boats, and yachts! A common problem is where to store your little slice of heaven afloat, especially if you're not here for the full year. Did you know there are buildings in Fort Lauderdale that sell deeded dock spaces? Did you know there's a marina with dry dock storage that sells docking space in the same way a condominium is sold?
If you own a unit in Symphony Tower you are allowed to buy a deeded boat dock along with your unit. The slips at Symphony are 40 feet in length and are roughly 18 feet wide. The slips offer water and electric supply. These are not dry dock.
If your vessel is up to 52 feet in length, and weighs less than 35,000 pounds, I have some great dry dock spaces for you! The dry rack storage space is 17 feet high and 15 feet wide. The Marina's building is climate controlled and hurricane rated.
It may make more financial sense for someone that isn't going to live here full time to buy a dry lot home, and a dry dock storage space, versus a home with a dock. If you're not as price sensitive I have some magnificent waterfront homes with docking spaces I can take you to go see. Give me a call or an email if you'd like more information.
